Retrospective 2Foqus Data & Analytics Event 2022

October 11 was finally the day: The 2Foqus Data & Analytics Event 2022.

A day full of inspiring presentations and speakers, a walk along the pandas, but above all a day where we came together again and were able to share knowledge with each other.

The beautiful weather and Ouwehands Dierenpark Rhenen as beautiful location made this edition successful again! With special presentations by the CEO of TimeXtender, Heine Krog Iversen and the Zoological Director José Kok of Ouwehands Dierenpark. An afternoon program divided over three rooms with content presentations about TimeXtender, Qlik and Data Literacy and a cool story by Vera Crijns about the importance of data at Quooker.

In short, a great day to look back on!

Inspiring stories

The importance and downside of data, but especially the many possibilities of data.

Heine Krog Iversen - TimeXtender

On the importance and downside of data. How low code / no code solutions should work, but often do not. That a lot of productivity is lost because of this and how TimeXtender is trying to change this. But also about how it is to live in a world where everything revolves around data and people at the same time. That we humans determine the output of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning because that is how we "taught" them.

José Kok - Ouwehands Zoo

About how data is used in zoos around the world. What data is used for and how important data collection is.

Vera Crijns - Quooker

About how data and especially the insights from data have contributed to Quooker's enormous worldwide growth over the past 10 years. How, based on demand from the shop floor, more and more data was gradually deployed to enable Quooker to grow decisively and healthily.

Sessions Qlik

During the Qlik sessions, we considered the usefulness of data-driven work in a constantly changing world and market situation. How Qlik can support the creation of a data-driven organization and how Qlik differs from competing solutions. Also discussed were the new versions of Qlik, Qlik Sense and Qlik Cloud and how they differ from Qlikview. The presentation concluded with a live demo and a Q&A session. Sessions TimeXtender

The TimeXtender sessions presented how TimeXtender can be used to easily access data from different data sources and make it ready for data visualization. What the structure and working method looks like, the possibilities of synchronization and incremental loading of data. In addition, the presentations focused on the new version of TimeXtender and how it has changed from the old version. The presentations ended with a live demo and a Q&A session. Data Literacy Sessions

How to NOT Get Lost in the Jungle of Data?

Data Literacy is still understudied in many organizations. During the Data Literacy session, we focused on learning to read and understand data. How important it is to understand what you see and read and that everyone in the organization has the same images and interpretations about it. How to start Data Literacy / Business Intelligence in your organization, what changes are involved on the shop floor and what is the importance of presenting data in the right way. All this using catchy examples. If you want to read the Data Literacy presentation, click below.
