Retrospective TimeXtender Test Tour 2023
On Friday, November 24, we organized the TimeXtender Test Tour together with our partner TimeXtender at Racesquare in Utrecht. An event where we combined knowledge sharing about data management and fun.
After the reception and a brief welcome speech, it was time for the participants to get to work themselves. All participants were challenged to qualify as well as possible for the Grand Prix that would be held at the end of the afternoon. Enthusiastically, everyone got behind the wheel of their own virtual Formula 1 race car. After a fanatical qualification, it was time for the workshop where the live race data obtained was unlocked using TimeXtender.
The theory around data management was clearly explained and applied by the TimeXtender consultants. The participants got to work with their own race data, which further increased their involvement in the practical exercises for unlocking and visualizing data. For extra motivation, food and drinks were brought in the meantime so that everyone could start the Grand Prix well-rested.
With the insights gained from their race data, all participants appeared at the start line on edge. After an exciting and fun race, Niek Huijsmans crossed the line as the winner, after which the event ended with a short homage and a pleasant drink.
Next year, the TimeXtender Test Tour will be organized again. Probably the first edition of 2024 will take place in May. If you want to be there then, and be assured of a seat, sign up now.
