Digitalization is therefore not a separate initiative, but an important part of the strategy. In recent years, it had already been working intensively on using data in daily operations. But the organization did not yet have one central point where data came together. Information was scattered across different systems and departments, so insight often depended on manual gathering. Much knowledge sat in Excel files, mailboxes and local solutions. The urgency was growing: how do we ensure that all entrepreneurs and headquarters can manage on the same reliable and up-to-date information?<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration with Cmotions ensured that the development that had been initiated moved into high gear. Davey Raben, Program Manager Data, IT &amp; Innovation, remembers this well:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\"We had the ideas and we saw the potential of data, but without structure, time and capacity, it remained isolated experiments. We were missing a foundation that fit an organization with 110 auto body repair shops.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>There was also the question of how modern technology, such as AI and automation, could be deployed in a way that would not overburden franchisees and headquarters. The ambition was not to impose systems, but to provide solutions that relieved them directly. Therefore, the journey began not with tooling or technology, but with formulating a shared vision and establishing a complete data strategy. A transition from data to direction and results. Together with Cmotions, we mapped out which information was essential, which processes could be structurally improved and which steps were needed to really make data and AI part of daily operations.<\/p>\n<p>From that strategy, a modern data platform was set up in Microsoft Fabric, in which data from different systems came together in one place for the first time. The platform now forms the heart of the digital transformation within AHG. Reports that were previously compiled manually are now generated automatically. Clients can look directly at turnaround times, claims handling and quality. This not only unburdens the internal teams, but also makes conversations with customers much faster and more concrete. Thijs Knuiman, Controller at AHG, sees daily how big a difference this makes:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\"Having a single source of truth allows us to automate reporting and communicate faster, more consistently and transparently to our partners.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What helped tremendously was the strength of The Digital Neighborhood of which Cmotions is a part. Different disciplines - from CRM specialists to data engineers to experts in security - could be quickly connected when needed. \"What helped us most was the access to different areas of expertise within The Digital Neighborhood,\" says Davey. \"All the expertise across the board is under one roof.\"<\/p>\n<h3><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">AI that takes work off your hands<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The impact of this approach quickly became apparent. Teams that previously relied on manual processes saw how work that previously took hours could now be completed in minutes or even seconds. The data platform made reports available faster and more reliably, allowing internal management to be managed with more peace of mind and certainty.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to structural improvements, a first AI application was developed: an invoice assistant that automatically reads emails, looks up information and prepares draft responses. This application immediately shows how technology can take over work that previously required a lot of time and attention. With this, AI became a practical, everyday resource.<\/p>\n<p>Guus van Dreven, Director AHG, sees how fundamental these changes are:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\"You see immediate results: less manual work, more focus on customers and better insight into performance. In the coming years, AHG wants to roll out AI more widely, so that franchisees and clients themselves can benefit from assistants who take over administrative tasks and further automate processes. In addition, the network will continue to grow and data will play an increasing role in strategic choices.<\/p>\n<p>Cmotions remains involved as a strategic partner to identify new opportunities and further strengthen the data platform.
